Our journey towards this milestone began with the inception of IFBOT, and we couldn't be prouder of the progress we've made. We identified a clear demand for new solar panel cleaning robots, despite the existence of options in the market for over a decade. The existing solutions have low penetration in the solar panel cleaning market, as they were limited by their design, making them unsuitable for many applications. Some of the key limitations included:

  • Excessive weight, making transportation difficult.

  • Inability to clean panels at high tilt angles.

To address these challenges, we embarked on a mission to redesign the solar panel cleaning robot from the ground up, resulting in the IFBOT X3 – the world's first fully autonomous and portable solar panel robot.
